Really great location, with a superb view of the Parthenon from the rooftop terrace. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would’ve liked to stay longer, but this was a short layover from Crete to the US. Will stay again given the chance.

The location cannot be beat. It is in the middle of everything and anywhere you wish to go is around the corner. The views are stunning - from the roof top bar "Door in Athens" with the amazing Panagiotis as manager and maitre'd. The breakfast is excellent, fast and easy with fresh choices and a variety for everyone. We started in a corner room and there was a problem. The hotel staff moved us to a quieter room and we were very happy with that. The new room was a little bigger with no street noise so we slept soundly. We were content with the change.

Acropolis
Long before it was known as Bloomfield Falls, this magnificent waterfall was called Wujal Wujal by the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people. Hire a guide and learn why these people still consider Wujal Wujal to be sacred. Or just head down in your 4x4 with a picnic basket to have lunch in serious style!

Coming early is key.
Coming early is key. I visited in March (winter season) and by 10 am, there was already a crowd inside of the Acropolis, at the only path to the Parthenon. Fortunately the crowd was not large, but I'd say it was a bit large for this time of the year. As for the toilets, they are outside of the sight, and once you leave the sight, there's no re-entering it with the same ticket. So make sure to go to the toilet before entering the sight.

Magnificent. Go as early as you can to avoid the crowds.
Magnificent. Go as early as you can to avoid the crowds. Hat, comfy shoes, and water are necessary. I went once around the spring festival and it was amazing. Everyone with flowers in their hair and celebrations everywhere. Visit the fabulous new museum after you have been to the Acropolis.

No trip to Athens would be complete without visiting the Acropolis, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Standing in front of the Parthenon, surrounded by ancient ruins, was a humbling experience. The view of the city from atop the hill is breathtaking, and it’s easy to imagine the grandeur of ancient Athens.

There is no words to add for the Acropolis, however please mind to buy tickets at the Acropolis entrance which cost just 10 euros or at the official acropolis tickets website, rather than having them bought online in third party sites which cost almost double.

The site is incredible but I felt it lacked the luster that I expected as far as detailed historical information. Yes, there were plaques and signs, bur I suppose I wanted more than was available. If you want detailed information, definitely buy the guided tour.

Bring lots of water, go early in the day to avoid crowds, hold on to ropes and poles as the marble steps are very slippery, do not touch any of the monument, there is a very fresh from springs water fountain on the top, there's a water bottle dispenser however it only takes coins, if approached by someone for a tour versus obtaining a tour ahead of time, be prepared about the price and the clarity of their language. Besides that the Acropolis is amazing and if you can and you have gone early in the day, try to sit and imagine that this is in the area of where democracy written history philosophy mathematics begin. Other than parts of it Asia of course.

Spacious, clean and surprisingly quiet apartment right in the center of Athens. It's only a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis but in a relaxed residential neighborhood. The beds are great, there was a huge fruit basket and 2! balconies, from one of which we could catch a glimpse of the Acropolis! Check in was contactless and absolutely easy.
Athens can be a busy and hectic city, but stepping into Alva Hotel felt like entering an oasis of calm and luxury. The decor is a perfect blend of modern elegance and classic Greek touches. My room had a stunning view of the Acropolis, and the plush bedding ensured I got the best sleep. The bathroom was also incredibly clean and well-equipped with high-end toiletries. I loved everything about this place!
The location is absolutely fabulous, right in the old city center, near Acropolis!
The apartment is clean, everything is new and very comfortable. The host was very nice, even offered complimentary fruits and snacks.
If I ever return to Athens, I will for sure chose the same place to stay!
It was very kind of them to send champagne to our room for my sister's birthday! All the staff are very kind and helpful. I am happy that I found my permanent hotel in Athens. I have stayed in two different rooms so far and both were great. Large rooms, clean and peaceful! The view from the acropolis is magnificent. location is great.
The apartment was located very close to Acropolis, within minutes from metro station Singrou fix, walking distance from many points of interest and sorrounded by restaurants and caffes. The facility is very clean, the bedrooms have very confy beds and facing the inner court which makes the night sleep nice and quite. I could recommend this cozy apartment to anyone who love to stay in Athens.
It is impossible to be closer to the Acropolis and the placa then at this apartment. Literally as you step out of the Metro you are there. Once inside we were delighted by the comfort and set up and immediately felt at home. I wish our stay were longer and we will be sure to come here again if we ever come back to Athens. Just awesome!
We had an amazing stay at KG Acropolis Escape Spa Apartment! The location was perfect—just a short walk from the Acropolis and great local restaurants. The apartment itself was modern, clean, and well-equipped, with a beautiful outdoor patio and hot tub that made for a relaxing retreat. The hosts, Hector and George, were incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens!
IT WAS PERFECT !!! The best hotel in Athens. Excellent service from the hotel staff. Courtesy. Excellent location in the center of Athens. Walking distance to everywhere. Great breakfast on the roof of the hotel facing the Acropolis. Great room.
Every thing it’s three stars but equal to four stars or even more it’s really a great Hotel one of the best hotels ever already I missed the place and I want to travel back to Athens again one of the hotel is one the many reasons to visit Greece again.
