Hotel Plaka has a prestigious location in Athens’ historic center. It is just 5 minutes walk from Syntagma Square and 2 blocks from Monastiraki Metro Station.

Eva was extremely nice and helpful. She was attentive to our queries and informed us about the air controllers strike and places to avoid when there was a demonstration at the parliament. Location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything. The restaurant at the roof deck had a breath-taking view of the Acropolis and food as well as the service was exceptional!

Right on Monastiraki Square, just steps from Monastiraki Flea Market, 360 Degrees features a roof bar- restaurant with panoramic views of the city and the Acropolis.

Breakfast was amazing and had an amazing view of the Acropolis. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff was super helpful. One of our party was limited mobility and everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Location was very central. There is a hop stop bus stop right outside the hotel.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and in a great location, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff. From the helpful and welcoming reception team to the incredibly welcoming restaurant staff, everyone made the experience truly enjoyable!

We stayed four days at the hotel, the room and the bed are very comfortable, the staff was very nice. The real problem is a shower there are no doors in certain rooms to the shower and the water goes everywhere when we complained about it. They told us to put towels on the floor and we told them that it’s not acceptable to step in water for a whole week, so they sent someone so day after who helped a bit but it’s still was very uncomfortable. We stepped in water every time we needed to go to the bathroom brush our teeth so whatever also the lights were very annoying some were not working and it was uncomfortable. The location is perfect in the centre everything can be done by foot it’s close to everything . We did not take the breakfast because the buffet is not worth €15. We were gifted for the trouble with the shower one hour as a facilities, including Jacuzzi and sauna. Jacuzzi is not even hot and when we asked why isn’t it hot? They said it’s the policy temperature. The staff is really, really nice and overall we had a nice stay. But the shower was very troubling. I shouldn’t have to step into water when I brush my teeth. also in the pictures it shows a view to the acropolis as there was absolutely no view but the view of an abandoned building don’t expect to see acropolis from the absolutely not, also you can hear everything from one room to the other.
