If you want to visit beautiful Dubrovnik, book an appartment...
If you want to visit beautiful Dubrovnik, book an appartment just outside the old town. Get up very early and start your tour in Dubrovnik between 7 and 8 am. The Stradun is almost empty at that time. Between 9 and 10 the first boats and busses arrive and the main streets get overcrowded. A good time to start your walk on the walls. In the afternoon, when it's hot, visit Rector's palace, churches... It's location is very convenient. It had all the amenities we needed. And Michael is so quick in responding and thoughtful too! We asked him where we can buy the cookies he left for us at the apartment and instead of telling us where, he sent Neva to bring us 4 big bags! Place is at the heart of Dubrovnik and very crowded/noise area but you closed the windows there is no noise, house has very good sound isolation. Apartment is at the near of Stradun street, everything is close to apartment. Beach is close, almost 10 minutes walking. Apartment owner Toni is amazing and helpful person. The bed was the most comfortable one we encountered in Croatia. The bathroom is great, and has a large shower with plenty of water pressure and hot water. And the apartment is very well located, a short downhill walk to the Stradun, the main street in the Old Town. Note there are quite a few stairs to get up to the apartment. Host was quick to answer and apartment is exactly as in the pictures.
