I liked the rooms and the staff, one staff I think his name was Zubair, was excellent, he went out of his way to help and showed us things around. He took us to Gym and spa facilities, overall amazing hospitality.
Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest is situated within 600 metres of Fisherman's Bastion, 700 metres from Chain Bridge and it is close to several noted attractions.

Property is in an exceptional location. We checked in quite late and only had one full day. The guy who checked us in was so helpful. He talked us through the position of the hotel in relation to all the attractions he suggested were good. Talked us through restaurants (and the one across the road did amazing Goulash soup). Then even took out a map and marked things on there for us! All of the staff were polite and helpful. You are able to walk to Castle hill and Fisherman’s Bastion. (Well there’s a lot of steps but it was ok). We even walked across the bridge and to the Basilica and Opera house.
Though this bathhouse sprang up in the 1880s, folks have been dipping their toes in hot springs here since the 12th century. Smaller than Budapest’s best known spas, this quiet retreat is frequented by locals seeking a quick pick-me-up in pools that range from 22 to 40 degrees. The pace quickens on Saturday nights when the place transforms into a laser-lighted nightclub.

Nice, not a lot of pools but it's enough to spend two or three hours there relaxing...but it's a real labyrinth inside! Don't forget your flipflop and you don't need to pay for a safe since you have access to one locker with your bracelet. The tram stops right in front of the building.
