My stay at Bisma Eight in Ubud was an exceptional 5-star experience, characterized by the immaculate cleanliness and beautiful upkeep of the entire property, including the breathtaking infinity pool that offered stunning views of the lush Ubud jungle, its vibrant greenery, and occasional glimpses of wildlife. I thoroughly enjoyed the wealth of enriching activities offered, keeping me engaged with Balinese culture and nature. The Copper Kitchen & Bar was a culinary delight, serving exquisite dishes with outstanding service. Evenings were made perfect by the utterly relaxing and rejuvenating Japanese hot tub, providing a tranquil escape. We attended a traditional dance on Sunday night and it was fascinating -- the traditional percussion instruments throughout the performance, the colors of the traditional dress, the facial expressions that help to tell the story, and the setting in the Ubud Palace courtyard made it a wonderful experience. It lasted an hour and 10 minutes, which was a perfect length of time.

I love the walk through. The rice paddies with small vendors, coffee shops, and restaurants along the way. This is off the beaten path but close to the bustling streets near Ubud Palace. My villa was very private which was perfect for Nyepi and I was so grateful to be there to participate in a beautiful cultural tradition. Everything was sparkling clean and really lovely. I highly recommend this gem!
Very spacious villa, great pool on-site. Close to ubud palace, walkable distance to monkey forest. Many restaurants around, shops and groceries. Bathrooms well equipped, hair dryer provided. Beds very comfortable. Good wifi. Included breakfast was pretty good, croissant options were our favourite. We had spa treatments which were well priced and very good.
1. Excellent location close to restaurants and Ubud palace.
2. Breakfast was excellent and was delivered to our room on time.
3. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect. close to shops, restos,
main road,
convenience stores, Ubud Palace and
market. the area is uphill so its very quiet despite being central.
The staff are warm, polite and very helpful. Helped me carry my luggages upstairs in and out of the hotel.
Their Indonesian breakfast is lit and the Indonesian cake is yummy!
My room is so pleasant, spacious, with own balcony with pool and garden view.
Wonderful hosts. The location is convenient, near to good eating places, laundry, banking, salon, spa, etc. Everything we need is within walking distance. Walking distance to Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace (can be quite hot to walk). I feel safe. It's like home away from home. Feels welcoming. I had breakfast the first morning (banana pancake), then the rest of the stay, I did some exploring around. Good for long stay
Everything. I had a junior suite facing the pool. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 11 nights. The location was in walking distance to the monkey forest, ubud palace, the water temple and main shopping areas. Their private tour service offered plenty of day trips in the area. Breakfast was great. Staff were really wonderful and helpful in providing anything you needed.
Ibah was great. Location, staff, services were all amazing. It’s an easy 1/2 mile walk (albeit hot and humid) to the Ubud Palace. There are a couple of great restaurants a block down the street.
Lovely room with a balcony view of the pool. Perfectly located close to central Ubud, restaurants 10min walk, Ubud art market 10min, Ubud palace/water Palace 10min so you can watch live performance at 7.30pm most days. We did temple and waterfall tour and the driver picked us up from the hotel area.
Rooms were cleaned every day and staffs where very friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay as a couple from UK. Highly recommend
The owners are wonderful! Very friendly, they offered us coffee or tea when we arrived, and next morning the owner showed and explained about the fruit trees in the property and gave several fruits for us to try. The fruits were much better than fruits purchased at the market or even the one I ate at hotels. Room was nice and clean, beds comfortable.
Also very close to the Ubud Palace, 10 min walk.
The hotel was great! I would be happy to return here - hotel accommodations at guesthouse prices.
Pros -
- clean and new rooms
- friendly staff
- large rooms
- location was a 7 min scooter ride to central Ubud (like Ubud palace), but quiet and spacious due to it being a couple of minutes out
- good wifi if you’re close to the router
- tv in every room with Netflix and prime
- daily breakfast, coffee, and water available
- cost
