Set in a 16th-century building, Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments is in Naples’ historical centre, 300 metres from Dante Metro.

We loved the location of this hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful. The sitting area outside was so relaxing to sit in for a coffee in the evening. We got an upgrade to an apartment which was absolutely gorgeous with a lovely view.

Set in Naples, 2.1 km from Naples Central Train Station, Gold Tower Lifestyle Hotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

I love the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was very friendly! Got a free upgrade to a deluxe room and the room was spacious and clean and modern looking. All the fittings were working perfectly fine. TV was modern and huge, with complimentary water bottles! There were hourly shuttles arranged by the hotel to the city center which helps a ton!

Set in Naples, a 5-minute walk from San Gregorio Armeno, Santa Chiara Boutique Hotel has a bar and a sun terrace. Free WiFi is available throughout.

Naples is such an energetic, full-on and fabulous city we knew we needed a real haven in the centre where we would relax and recover from walking for miles in the crowds. Santa Chiara BH is so well-named - there’s something heavenly about the way it floats two floors above the riotous Spaccanapoli, offering all possible comfort and calm as soon as you arrive. Light, bright Double rooms on the 4th floor have really comfortable super king beds, crisp white linen and all mod cons. For a really spacious old-school experience we moved for one night into a ‘suite’ on the 2nd floor where enormous painted doors and a beautiful vaulted ceiling gave us the full palazzo feel as well as an even larger bed and foam memory pillows The staff could not be more competent or kind, constantly offering ideas and helping us make bookings in Pompeii, Herculaneum and local restaurants. Cannot recommend too highly.

Very interesting tour with excellent guide. (near Reale Bosco, so can be done on same day). This is organised by and supports a really worthwhile youth initiative in a previously troubled neighbourhood, Sanita. Ticket can also be used for tour of Catacombs of Saint Gaudioso, which we didn't do

The Catacombs of Saint Gennaro are a captivating and historically rich site, offering a fascinating glimpse into early Christian burial practices. The guided tours are informative and bring the intricate frescoes and ancient tombs to life. The serene and atmospheric underground chambers make it a unique and memorable experience for history and archaeology enthusiasts.
