Like: The location is excellent, within a walking distance from city center, we got upgraded to a more classic room up in the the roof with lovely view to the cathedral, good air conditioning, the front desk staff were amazing so thank you
Dislike: quite few flies and mosquitoes inside the room which was so annoying

I cannot say enough about this place! It was exactly what I wanted for my time in Florence and Tuscany. The property is gorgeous The staff is amazing. There was a train strike, they helped us figure it out and made sure we were ok.
The restaurant although very good, didn’t change while we were there. We were there during the week, not sure when the menu changes
The bartender makes an amazing Negroni! ( Hail Queen of the Negroni!)
They do have transportation to Florence so even though you are out of city central you have access and the view is worth the extra time !
This was one of our favorite places
This former Augustine convent of the 13th century is next to the Uffizi Gallery, facing Florence's Ponte Vecchio. The roof garden with bar offers views of the cathedral.

Worth the hike up to the Piazzale Michelangelo for the view...
Worth the hike up to the Piazzale Michelangelo for the view of the city. We chose this over the Duemo … I’m sure the view is just as good and it’s free. We carried on up to the cemetery which is worth a visit.

A great view of all of Florence.
A great view of all of Florence. Definitely worth the walk up there (it's not that bad or that steep; maybe in the heat of August is a different story, but we were there in May). And yes, there are public toilettes up there -- 1 Euro. Always have some spare coins in your pocket for public toilets!

Location and staff. The Hotel is within walking distant of all of the cultural and food establishments that make Florence such a special place to visit. Right across the street from the Aron River and across the river to Piazzale Michelangelo with a view of the beautifully lite Tower. At the same time you can look down the river to the Ponte Vecchio. The staff were wonderful friendly welcoming and accommodating.
This is a great apartment in the Santo Spirito neighborhood of Florence. Very spacious for a couple very clean, and quiet at night. Groceries and cafes are close by, as are interesting artisan shops and the central piazza. An easy walk to Piazzale Michelangelo, the Boboli Gardens...also easy to walk across the Arno to the Duomo and the center of Florence. Federico is a warm and knowledgeable host---he gave us lots of great recommendations. We'd love to return one day.
This house is a dream come true! You feel like you're in the Tuscan countryside while being right in the Oltarno mix. Getting anywhere we wanted was always easy. Watching sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo was just up a flight of steps from the entrance, and the big beautiful lawn with a view of Il Duomo was magical. We split our week between this house and a downtown luxury hotel. Our biggest regret is not having just stayed at the house the entire time. Thank you Corinna!!!
