Overall a beautiful modern hotel that's well located. Only let down was the climate control.
Location is perfect. A couple of minutes walk to the Spanish steps and Trevor fountain. It's a 45 minute walk to the Vatican and maybe 35 to the Colleseum. The metro is also close by and you can tap with a contactless credit card to pay. We used the fast train from the airport to go to Termini and then 2 stops on the metro to the hotel.
The hotel was really modern (unusual for Rome) and clean. The beds were comfortable and shower was great. The staff were also very helpful giving us lots of recommendations of where to eat they were more authentic.
One point to note, there is a lift that takes you up to all the floors but it's small and you have to manually close the doors. If you don't like heights this might be a struggle.
The reception was also a little hard to find, it's not in the same building as the hotel rooms and it's not sign posted well (we ended up wandering around the hotel rooms trying to find it but it's actually in the building next door).
We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.
Featuring a fitness centre, free WiFi, and a terrace, Room Mate Filippo offers elegant rooms 200 metres from Barberini Metro. The Spanish Steps are 500 metres from the property.

Great location. Very clean room and pleasant team in the front desk. Breakfast is very good. The room was a bit small and too dark especially the bathroom. Shampoo bottle was empty and shower gel finished as well. It seems that the cleaning lady did not check it before our check in and during our stay. Still we absolutely recommend this hotel for a couple vacation in Rome

Hotel was perfectly clean. Stuff, the young ladies were amazing so friendly, so smiley and answer all the request immediately. They help with the map showed me around gave me a lot of suggestions where to eat what to see what to do in the city they left me pasta on my bed as a gift. It was so cute. Location of the hotel was amazing so close to Trevi fountains close to shopping streets and different small shops.

Piazza di Spagna
The name might not ring a bell but this city-centre square contains one of Rome’s most recognisable landmarks. Best known in English as the ‘Spanish Steps’, the steep staircase linking Piazza di Spagna to the Trinità dei Monti Church has been immortalised on screen in films like ‘Roman Holiday’. Strike a movie-star pose on the steps for some memorable holiday snaps.

EXCELLENT...an outstanding Piazza with SO much to see!
EXCELLENT...an outstanding Piazza with SO much to see! Crowd gazing and wandering were the order of the day for us. Some really impressive buildings that were well protected by men in uniforms.
Rome is a beautiful city and this Piazza exemplifies this.

The Piazza di Spagna is just below the Spanish Steps (as I'm sure you know), and houses the famous Fontana della Baraccia.
Speaking as a tourist who did a lot of walking in Rome, this is a good place to sit and rest. I asked the nearby policeman, who assured me that it was quite legal to fill up my water bottle from the fountain (and that the water was wholesome and not dangerous).
However, please do NOT try to wash your feet (or other body parts) in the fountain. The locals and police frown on that kind of thing. You will be fined heavily. (I know this probably doesn't need to be said, but some idiots have tried!)
Otherwise, this is a pleasant part of town. For English-speaking bibliophiles, the Anglo-American bookshop is not far from here and also highly recommended.

Early morning or very late will make the journey enjoyable. Better yet, you need to be romantically inclined otherwise you won't see the point of it all. Of late, tourists have been nasty here so off season is the best time to go.

Amazing photo opportunities, don’t engage in conversations with those trying to “give” you anything or ask you where you’re from and you won’t get scammed. Why’s it matter where I’m from ? Mind your business pal. Also you cannot sit on the steps at all or you will be called out by the police on site there. They can fine you but will probably just tell you to get up right away.

This was a great room close to the Vatican and also to Piazza di Spagna. We booked there to go to a football match and the walk was only about an hour from Stadio Olimpico, so this is where I'll stay the next time I go to the stadium. The amenities were great and the room was comfortable - we also got a good breakfast in the morning, which we truly enjoyed.
Our room was beyond our expectations, the hotel was located in a very nice neighbourhood near the piazza di Spagna and Paola was very helpful and friendly! It was a pleasant experience!
Sistina Boutique Guest House is a true find! The decor is modern yet warm, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The proximity to Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna made sightseeing effortless. A fantastic experience!
The location of this accommodation is the best part! It's very close to Piazza dei Popoli (2 minutes), Piazza di Spagna (10 minutes), and all other landmarks in the center of Rome. We walked everywhere, there was no need to use public transport. The accommodation was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and nothing was missing (they replenished coffee and water daily). We had an iron, a hairdryer, towels, a refrigerator, and a safe.
Very clean , at an excellent location near Piazza di Spagna, close to the metro station. Everybody was friendly and accommodating. I recommend it. Vfm and more.
