The room was very spacious and accommodated myself, my parents, and my sister. The staff was very friendly and supplies were provided on a daily basis in a timely manner. The hotel was close to many restaurants, stores, and subway/bus stations and was still in a quieter part of the city, which we appreciated.

Hotel Okura's elegant rooms boast spectacular views of Kyoto against the backdrop of the Higashiyama Mountains.

I thought the beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom is very clean and had great water pressure. Love there’s a closet to hang clothes and being able to hang dry clothing in the shower after wash using the shower room heat feature. Requests like additional trash bags or instant coffee powder were promptly completed. Easy checkout system of return key box. Superb location, close access to a grocery store, bus stops, subway, and popular shopping area. Quiet street and very walkable.

The hotel was in an excellent location - close to shops, bars and restaurants, and right by a subway and train station so very convenient. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was very nice.
