Kyoto is an amazing city with a very relaxed vibe. We truly enjoyed our trip—Japan is a fantastic destination with a rich mix of natural beauty, cultural experiences, and vibrant urban life. The Japanese people are incredibly respectful and kind. The hotel itself was great: very nice, well-spaced, and comfortable rooms, with an excellent location right next to a metro station. The only minor downside was that the wardrobes were a bit small.

Hotel Okura's elegant rooms boast spectacular views of Kyoto against the backdrop of the Higashiyama Mountains.

A lovely hotel, with an exceptional concierge service and delicious breakfast, especially the Japanese breakfast. However, the room was quite small.

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station.

Fabulous location, exceptionally clean with large rooms. Staff were super helpful and polite. It felt like everything was good quality. Could not fault it at all and would definitely stay again.

Cross Hotel Kyoto is set in Kawaramachi Sanjo and provides rooms with warm wooden decor featuring Kyoto-style architecture and free WiFi.

What a great hotel! It’s fairly new and centrally located. Close to the Nishiki markets the canals, shopping district, the Namo river and the old town of Kyoto. Also close to lots of great restaurants and cafes. The room was well appointed with a nice bathroom. Enough room for 2 pieces of luggage too.

A great place to stay in a quiet lanes off the Main Street. Very central location and friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Rooms were huge and spacious.

    It is very clean, warm, everything is very convenient. Tadashi-san and Yuki-san were amazingly kind and helpful. It felt like home.
