We love everything about this hotel! It's clean, the staff are friendly, check-in was open for 24/7, the bed is comfortable, and it's quiet at night—even though the hotel is located in a great neighborhood. Convenience stores, bars, the train station, and the market hall are all within walking distance.

Location is really good. Gym and Spa are downstairs and it's convenient to use. Hotel has a good interior and history, but it's not enough for 5 stars hotel.

    Lovely apartment reminiscent of "old" Vilnius, with large windows, terrace and courtyard. The Gates of Dawn, the historic district and Halles Market are steps away. There's a lot of hustle and bustle on the street, but once you step into the courtyard and apartment it is so quiet and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Ideal location near the Gates of Dawn in Old Town Vilnius.....walking distance to the Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Castle Tower and other historical sites. The staff was exceptional and the buffet breakfast was good and well priced. Our thanks to Paulina, Alena, Yelena and Agne who were attentive, very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay at Domus Maria!

    Great location, easy to reach to and from airport and train and bus station. Interesting experience to stay in such old building and just behind a historical church. Great location at start of old town with the Gates of Dawn next door.

    Highly recommend Domus Maria. It has some exceptional atmosphere of peace and ambient silence, probably due to being a former monastery premises. The location is at the Gates of Dawn, right at the beginning of the Old Town, but no noise at all comes from the busy street. About 10 min walk from the bus/ train station. Very clean and comfortable rooms, nice and helpful staff. We had a nice (prepacked) breakfast at the very atmospheric former refectory. Really loved everything!

    Excellent location near the Gates of Dawn in the southern part of Vilnius Old Town. Very convenient kitchenette "hidden" inside large cupboard doors with mini-fridge and dishwasher -- nicely designed. Close to good restaurants and bars both downstairs and across the street. Nice to have bath robes, slippers, and umbrella provided. Host offered to provide some housekeeping services after first 3 nights. Perfect hotel alternative.
