Outstanding in every way. Perfect location and extremely comfortable but the staff are what really make this hotel one of the best we have ever experienced. They are the kindest and most courteous we have had the good fortune to meet and we cannot speak too highly of them although special thanks must go to Brahim and Riab who went out of their way on every occasion to make us welcome.

This was our first time in Marrakech and we were so pleased we stayed in Fashion boutique hotel rather than a Riad. The hotel was in a very good area and taxi to Medina was only 5 mins away. The food in the roof top bar and restaurant was the best we have eaten. Fresh breakfasts excellent. Staff so helpful. Including reception and restaurant staff. We did walk to the main station which was 5 mins from hotel and caught train to CasaBlanca which was fast train but worth the effort but glad to be back in Marrakech hotel.
The bedroom was spacious and very clean with kettle and fridge. The best hotel.

Overpriced and Overhyped – Wouldn’t Recommend Petsana CR7 Marrakech
I stayed at Petsana CR7 Marrakech expecting a high-end experience, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve had.
First of all, the service is incredibly stingy. I asked twice for water and got IGNORED and then when I insisted I was told they only provide one bottle on the first day — and that’s it. No daily refills, no hospitality. I also asked for a soap bar and was told they don’t have any. Same with cotton pads, cotton swabs, dental kit and even a loofah — nothing. For a hotel that brands itself as luxury, that’s just unacceptable.
The room itself was poorly maintained. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, and the curtains were literally falling down. It looked like a rushed, careless setup with no attention to detail (see photos).
And don’t expect a good night’s sleep — there’s absolutely no soundproofing. You can clearly hear people talking and music from the cafés nearby. It felt like I was trying to sleep on a sidewalk.
It’s clear this hotel is relying heavily on the CR7 name and not on actual quality or guest satisfaction. I regret booking here and definitely wouldn’t stay again unless major improvements are made.

Souk of the Medina
Plunge headfirst into the hectic hustle and bustle of Marrakech Souk. Selling everything from spices to beautiful Moroccan lamps, this labyrinthine market is a riot of sights, sounds and smells. Be prepared for the stallholders’ persistence and get ready to haggle hard for your bargains – it’s all part of the experience. Book a guide in advance to get the best out of your visit!

CASH... small bills!
CASH... small bills! 'Negotiate' is key. offer at least 1/2 of initial price and go up incrementally. Don't pay more than 70 % of first price. Don't be afraid to walk away... sometimes the price really moves then.

A feast for all the senses and a myriad of crafts people at work. Again we appreciated our guide and even though you know he is bringing you to his particular friends we did not feel as pressured as in Fes. The Medusa ben Youssef was impressive and well worthwhile.

A maze full of market stalls and shops, you could end up spending a small fortune as there are so many interesting things to buy from soaps, to oils, lamps, leatherwear, basket ware, taglines, pottery, slippers etc. Use your map apps to get around as you could easily get lost and there's always someone wanting to show you there way for a small or not so small tip. Despite the narrow passages the motorcyclists do rush through so it can be a bit hair-raising at times; always walk on the right.

Interesting stuff to be seen, however the hordes of non-stop motorized scooters and their 2-cycle exhaust fumes quickly distracted and annoyed from what would and could have been a much more pleasant experience. For some reason Rabat is not plagued with this noisy, pushy, dangerous horde of alley roaches.

It's like many other places - shops selling, largely, tat.
It's like many other places - shops selling, largely, tat.
However, it's nice to wander around and there are some nice restaurants in the area.
One big tip - DO NOT ASK ANYONE ANYTHING. Asking for directions will galvanize the person you ask into action who will take you to where you are trying to find, sometimes trying to show you their brother's spice shop or cousins carpet shop. They will then demand a "gift". Which is money. Learn to keep walking and ignore people or just shake your head.
Also. consider a mask as there are so many motorbikes flying around the narrow streets it's just full of two-stroke engine fumes.
