We cannot say enough about our stay at the So Stay Hotel in Gdansk! The staff were just brilliant, polite, friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was large with a fridge, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was very good with hot, local and continental options everyday. The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect for us with a 10 minute walk to the large Forum Shopping Mall with a food court! Then it was just another maybe five minutes and you are in the main streets of what is a very walkable city anyway. There is also a very good Chinese Restaurant opposite the hotel which we used for one night! What made our stay at the hotel so good were the staff...Thank you so much and when we return to Gdansk we will hope you have a room free!

The room location was problematic as it was situated directly below the fitness center on the 3rd floor. Throughout the day until 22:00, we experienced significant noise disturbances akin to small earthquakes from the gym activities overhead. The constant vibrations and disruptions made it difficult to relax. Additionally, the walls appeared to lack sufficient soundproofing, as even neighboring guests closing their doors would cause noticeable movement of items in our room, making my pillow 'jump.' In my assessment, the property does not meet the standards typically expected of a 4-star establishment, particularly regarding noise insulation and structural quality. On a positive note, the staff demonstrated excellent professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy throughout our stay. A property that fails to deliver the promised 4-star experience due to significant noise issues.

Great location. Only issue was that a homeless person managed to get into the hotel and slept in the hallways. You should really make sure that is not possible.
