The hotel is absolutely stunning. I had been here 7 years ago and couldn’t wait to go back. Staff is extremely nice, it is well located, rooms are beautiful and spacious. This hotel is for sure a 10/10 and the only reason I am giving a 9 is because when we arrived we were informed that the pool was temporarily closed for reparations… I think this is the kind of information guests should be informed on prior to their arrival to be able to make an informed choice on their hotel selection. However, the staff was really nice and compensated us with other things that we truly appreciated and still made our experience feel very special.

Attractively set in the centre of Singapore, The Clan Hotel Singapore by Far East Hospitality features buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property.

This hotel is located close to Chinatown and is a manageable walk to the Boat Quay restaurant precinct. Its facilities are good. We were not happy to be offered early check-in for an extra S$245 after being told our room was ready. This just seemed mean after our overnight flight from Milan

Set in Singapore, 200 metres from The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Marina Bay Sands offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a restaurant.

Unfortunately quite a let down. We were staying just a few days in Singapore, and felt that Marina Bay Sands is a must. The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is basically the centre of everything, so it's handy so stay in it. However, the hotel isn't really a hotel, it's basically a room in a huge tourist mall. When we arrived, can't really say we had a nice welcome. It felt as if we were small ants in a large corporate hotel, where you are just expected to pay and don't bother anyone. We didn't know much about the restaurants, bars, or any facilities in or around the hotel (as we just got from the airport). The concierge was absolutely not helpful and just gave us a list of restaurants where we can go, without any explanation of how anything works, what's good to see, or basically any advice at all. Once again, we felt that we were bothering the personnel by asking any questions. The rooms are nice, but Singapore isn't really a vacation area, so you don't just hand around in your room/hotel. What is rather quite strange is the breakfast. For the price of the hotel one would expect, that breakfast might be included in the price, but I understand each hotel has its own policy. What is quite surprising and not at all peasant is the fact, that the hotel doesn't have its own breakfast area, and you eat in the huge entrance hall, where you have to wait in line (with other non guest tourists) to be seated. This is just very very strange. These is no sense of privacy, as you are literally eating in a public lobby. Dinner is the same, however what was a very unpleasant surprise was the general attitude of hotel/Mall staff. We had dinner in Ce La Vie and asked to charge our phone. The waiter said they have a policy of a 20 dollar deposit to lend a power bank (in a 1000E per night hotel). As we didn't carry around any cash (since the bill is aromatically charged to the room), we weren't provided a power...

    From the moment we stepped into the beautifully cool reception area we were treated by the biggest smiles from Amirah, Kai and Ezra, nothing was too much trouble. The air-conditioning worked well, room was functional and comfortable. Location great for Clarke Quay and Fort Canning Park.
