My experience at this hotel was good. The staff stayed in touch with me via WhatsApp at all times, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. I missed one night due to a flight cancellation, and they kindly offered me a room upgrade.
In general, hotel rooms in Istanbul tend to be quite small. The location was good—I was able to walk to all the main attractions.
I recommend for anyone visiting Istanbul.

Historical & busy bazar but beautiful bazar with lots of variety of accessories & jewelry. I saw people haggling to get discounts. Very hospitable shopkeepers! We were served with differnt delicious teas like apple tea, ginger tea, & pomegranate tea. Along with dry fruits & deserts. I enjoyed shopping there. Great place to visit! Prces were a bit better in Taksim square area. Must try Amazing deserts at Hafiz Mustafa shops.

Great place to visit and make some deals 🤣.
Great place to visit and make some deals 🤣. Do not dress expensive, unless you are buying expensive pieces of gold. Dress modestly, since the sellers look at you and form their prices accordingly. The first price is always too high, you have to bargain. Put a price lower than your final price and meet in the middle. Always apologize in a way that you do not want to offend him, but you respectfully give him you price. You are often invited to the shop to sit and drink tea, do not feel obliged to buy smtg although you drank the tea. Also, they are presenting you the goods (jackets, coats etc), usually you can not go through the staff by yourself. If you are buying gold, mind the clarity. It's usually 14 K (75% gold), while in other Europan countries it's 24K (99,9%), that's the reason why it seems cheaper...

It was nicer than it looked liked in the YouTube and it was a lot of shops. They had special shops and took you to another place in a closed room. As a lone traveler as a girl I didn’t felt so safe of course but they treated me well. I bought a lot of purses and Tees and souvenirs. The food may be spicy for some Scandinavians but I bought menthol pills. It’s a Muslim country but I didn’t dress so revealing like some countries. I used hoody and pants. No revealing outfits. I think that if women had to cover up, that makes people think how Muslim men are. But they were not sleazy or grabbing me like a pig! They were polite and gave me a lot of compliments wich I’m not used to in my country 🤦🏼♀️

My trip to Istanbul was not enjoyable due to feeling that "all eyes were on me", the grand bazaar was confusing and easy to get lost in, everything looked the same. I felt vulnerable and stayed in the room for the rest of my stay. Thought the staff at the hotel were very helpful.

Very big. Busy. Lots of small stalls.
Very big. Busy. Lots of small stalls. Most don’t have prices so haggling is the order of the day, Offer half of what they ask for, then you should arrive somewhere in the middle. Don’t start haggling if you don’t want to buy in the first place. A few show prices so no need to haggle with these as these are fixed price. Watch your handbag.

It was very interesting to see old style market with hundreds of shops. Looks very cool and has an interesting atmosphere. HOWEVER! Always a lot of people. If you're not good with crowds, you might not be able to move around or breathe at all. Also, everything is INSANELY overpriced, which makes Grand Bazaar only worth a visit if you're in for atmosphere & to look at cool old place.

People are talking about Grand Bazaar! Explore guest hotel reviews featuring "Grand Bazaar"
The hotel offers great value for money, with a location that’s perfect for exploring Istanbul’s most vibrant attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Their warm and welcoming interactions truly enhance the overall experience
Location was literally within yards of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cisterns and Grand Bazaar. Less than 3 blocks from metro to all other points of interest. Hotel also surrounded by a plethora, yes, a plethora of restaurants and shops.
The hotel is located in the center of Istanbul and is very close to the shopping center and the Grand Bazaar, as well as close to Hagia Sophia and Sultan Ahmed. The hotel is surrounded by a group of luxurious restaurants. The hotel is also located directly opposite public transportation, so you can move from one place to another easily. I cannot miss mentioning the management, represented by Mr. Ercan, for his warm reception and welcome.
It was very clean throughout the hotel. There was a very nice fresh smell every time you entered. Staff were friendly, smile and very accommodating. The rooms are lovely, spacious, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, you find everything you need in there. Cannot fault this hotel for the price you pay. Extremely good value for money. You have to walk up a steep hill but it literally takes 5 minutes and you are by the Grand Bazaar. Highly recommended. I would give it 5 star.
My go-to hotel when I visit Istanbul. Staff is helpful with touristy questions, such as locating a specific shop in the labyrinthine Grand Bazaar, restaurant reservations, and hailing a taxi when none are to be found. The best feature is the roof terrace, where a delicious breakfast is served with a spectacular view of the Hagia Sophia.
The hotel offers great value for money with its comfortable beds and very good cleanliness. Its location is excellent for tourists, as it is very close to major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar, along with many other popular tourist spots. This makes transportation easier and more convenient. Additionally, the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile.
The location of the hotel was perfect! Only steps from the Grand Bazaar, clean, efficient public transport (tram) with a beautiful perk Gurlan only 3 stops away! The manager of the hotel made me feel right at home and indeed like a princess….room upgrade with balcony view of a mosque, a fresh fruit plate on arrival, etc. He answered every question I had and acted as a wonderful tour guide. The breakfast buffet is very sumptuous! The pool, sauna and steam room were an additional bonus!
I chose this hotel because of the location and the reviews. I had been to Istanbul before and enjoyed staying close to the major tourist sites. The hotel was located about a 6 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. And a 8 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar! You can't get much better. The staff of the hotel were excellent and very helpful. We enjoyed our suite with the extra room.
The hotel is located in a walking distance from the historical center of the city. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi and Basilica Cistern are in 5min walking distance while for the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Bazaar it takes 15min. Very friendly staff, always willing to assist. Exceptional quality on the huge breakfast buffet, all thanks to Erhan. Very nice view on Bosporus from the Queb Rooftop Restaurant while enjoying delicious meals. I'm sorry I missed Saturday's live music.
Excellent little hotel right between the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar! Good location, room was very nice and comfortable, a little market right across the street. The staff was very helpful.
