The property is very clean and has most things you need, and the location is good, but we wouldn't have given it a 4 star - housekeeping is only every 2 days which is fine (and that is made clear before arriving), but to do so they come and knock on your door at 10:00, so if you're still in and you they knock, you miss it - it'd be so much better with a please clean/please DND sign you could put on your door !

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. We had contacted you in advance, and we were very happy to receive your kind congratulations upon our arrival. Above all, the location was excellent, providing easy access to all of our destinations. However, the room was a bit small, which made it difficult to open our suitcases comfortably. Also, the water pressure in the shower could have been a little stronger.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and whilst not cheap, good value for Manhattan. We were blown away by the quality of our room, the bed was super comfy and the shower incredible. It made the perfect oasis to come back to after a day exploring. The staff were wonderful, Eddy in particular looked after us bringing takeout to our room and helping us. We've stayed in many 5* hotels in our time, but this one is up there as one of our favourites in a major city.

Wonderful experience - the a la carte breakfast in the gorgeous dining room was the absolute best. Hotel has loads of atmosphere and the lounge, complete with roaring fire, was perfect after a day out exploring NYC in the wintry weather. Rooms on the small side, but that is par for the course in NYC and perfectly laid out within their small footprint. The daily cookies and water were very much appreciated. Would definitely return.
