Recently renovated. The rooms were very nice, great location next to the park. The only gripe is the facility charge . There is very little common space and no breakfast is provided for that charge/.

Empire State Building
Stretching into the sky at 120 stories high, the Empire State Building was once the tallest building in the entire world. Not for the faint of heart, its observation deck provides a bird’s-eye view of NYC. Dodge the crowds by visiting between 8 and 11 am and snap some photos uninterrupted, with the Big Apple as your backdrop.

Expensive but worth it.
Expensive but worth it. Staff at the top were helpful and knowledgeable about the skyline. Good exhibition about the history of the building. We went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in August without booking and there was no queue!

Get a city pass with access to the Empire State Building if you can. This will save on the price of entry ticket as well as allowing you to skip the queue on arrival. Well worth it if you are short on time.

Keep in mind that it gets very busy and it's heated during winter, so it can get very hot and crowded inside. I would recommend layering clothes so you can stay an okay temperature during the whole visit.
I wouldn't wait for the elevators as it can get very long, you can always grab the stairs up to the viewing points and it's only 6 flights.

What a lovely surprise ! This place smelled good, the size of the room was a great especially for new York. My favorite part was the roof top bar w the 360 view of the city! Location, location location! It was 2 blocks away from the empire state building and the subway station. We had the best time and the staff was super nice and helpful. I enjoyed this hotel very much!
The hotel was classy, in an easy and great location. Comfortable beds, clean room. Helpful front desk staff. Lots of food nearby and coffee. Subway entrance on the block, little french bakery with great coffee across the street, startbucks reserve in the empire state building that is less than a block away, a toast food buffet that was awesome and easy walking distance Grand and Penn station.
The location is unbeatable, close to Times Square yet removed enough to avoid ubercrowds and ubernoise. Dunkin' next door to get an espresso shot in the morning. Hotel staff is probably the best feature of this place - everyone is polite, attentive, helpful and professional despite us having a number of issues with the hotel. The breakfast lounge has enormous windows and a beautiful view of Bryant park, very NYC city feel and vibe. Our 31st floor suite also had a stunning view of Bryant park and partially of the Empire State building
Location, location, location! This property is in the perfect location in Midtown Manhattan close to the Empire State Building, Flatiron, and many top sight seeing attractions! I enjoyed the complimentary water and the wine hour within the hotel. It was also a treat that there was free breakfast. The best thing was the heated bathroom floors.
The hotel was perfect! The staff were so kind and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The room was beautiful- our window looked out to the Empire State Building! The amenities were great, the bed was very comfortable and huge! The terrace was beautiful. Location amazing!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered choices and was warm with great service. Hotel is in a great location within the theatre district. It's within easy walking distance of all Broadway theaters, Central Park, 5th Ave, the Empire State Building, and many wonderful restaurants.
Great location! We booked 3 weeks in advance and it was totally booked up the day we checked in. However we got to the hotel around 1:30 and they already had a room ready for us on the 28th floor with a great view of the Empire State Building.
