There was nothing to dislike. Location for Giants games was great. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. The rooftop restaurant was busy but worth it, the food was delicious! 10 out of 10.

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff, nice bar and restaurant. Cable cars running right out front. They are doing everything right! Coffee in the room. Robes. Refrigerator. They even surprised us with champagne and strawberries upon finding out it was our anniversary weekend. Totally unexpected! Totally appreciated! Destiny at the front desk is the best! This is where I'm staying next time I'm in San Francisco!

    Right next to the ferry building . Perfect location for us, we took the ferry from Marin county, and we were going to go to the Giants game. Staff was courteous and nice. we had friends staying in the hotel and they switched the rooms around so that we could all be close to each other. The rooms were clean. Quiet. Housekeeping was very nice view from some of the roomsare gorgeous.

    Our room was clean and modern looking. This was a perfect location within walking distance to the ferry building and Chinatown. The hotel provided free water bottle and had a fancy automatic coffee machine in the lobby where you can pick the type of coffee drink you want.

    The location was amazing, it was right next to the Bay Bridge and the Ferry Building. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They have the option of holding your luggage/car for a portion of the day after checkout so you can go explore the city a bit. That saved us the headache of parking elsewhere while we walked around. The "happy hour" wine service was a huge plus. The lobby was just lovely, there are plenty of restaurants closeby. It was a great stay!

    The location and the free parking. There were many fun shops and great restaurants in walking distance. You were able to walk to the marina and the palace of fine arts and it’s a quick taxi, Uber, or Waymo ride to the museum of modern art, the theater, and the ferry building. What a great weekend.

    Great value. Walking distance to North Beach, Chinatown, Ghiradelli Square, even the Ferry Building, Pier 39 and Union Square. If you're tired of walking, take MUNI or the cable car. Beds are comfortable, room is spacious. Bathroom is worn, but not terrible. Parking is free but tight. Larger cars can park on the second level. I live 45 minutes away, and stayed two nights with a friend. I would definitely stay here again since I just need a place to crash for the night. Butter and Crumble is just a few blocks away!

    The bed was very comfortable and we were not charged for valet parking during holiday season. We did tip of course. The location is in financial district but without the aggressiveness of Union Square and was close enough to walk to it. We walked to Chinatown, ferry building in the morning and we loved it. The staff provided us with umbrellas and had water, coffee and fruit in the lobby. Very nice touch. I know I run a small inn.

    I've stayed here a few times. It's always clean and quiet. If you're in the city for baseball season, oracle park is right across the street. It's about a half hour walk to Ferry building and union square. I enjoy staying here and it feels safe. Valet is the only parking, which costs of course, but I don't mind paying to having my car secure.

    They were very accommodating and gave us an up grade to a suite for only $100 when it was normally $300 upgrade. We had a beautiful view of the bay and Oakland Bridge. Also right near the Ferry Building where you could watch the ferries come and go. Very near loads of great restaurants. Hotel also gave us 4 free waters for the two of us and free appetizers that were over $42. Can’t wait to go again.

  • Why would you want to do that?

    Why would you want to do that? The people are wonderful, the city is compact, dense with wonderful things to do. But if you need breathing room from time to time, visit the Palace of the Legion of Honor, or walk the Embarcadero from the Ferry Building to AT&T Park, or walk on Ocean Beach. You are never far from something wonderful to do.
