Hotels near Howard Hughes Center, Las Vegas

Brilliant location. We had kids so access without having to walk through a casino was welcome. We could walk almost everywhere. And we took the club suite which was sensational

They had two rooms each floor with the "Sphere" view. We were lucky that we got one. But we had to wait till the evening because the room wasn't ready.

Everyone was very cooperative.. we enjoyed our family time..

I had a confirmed and paid booking from April 1 to 4. We drove from LA to Las Vegas but unfortunately I got sick and I was too weak to continue driving. So we had to stay overnight in Barstow. When we got to the hotel I was told that since I was a No Show my confirmed booking was CANCELLED! There was no email or any message at all telling me that my booking was cancelled. So I complained with the front desk staff who was VERY RUDE and told me that I should WAIT for their manager. I was told since I did not book with their hotel directly it is not their problem and it is a problem that I should settle with Booking.Com! I asked politely saying Miss I'm so tired and still sick pls give us our room since you already charged me for the room for the first night. I was just told to wait for their Manager who was not picking up the phone and was somewhere else in the hotel. Tired, sick and frustrated I complained and raised my voice and the front desk clerk suddenly called the Security. My experience was turning into a nightmare. Good thing though is that the 2 Security guards were kind and compassionate. After waiting for a very long time this female Manager appeared and told me she can't do anything since their hotel is fully booked. I was told I should have booked directly with the hotel and not through Booking.Com. So I was charged in full for the room 1st night and the rest of the reservation was cancelled. This is a terrible experience and I will never go back to this hotel or perhaps maybe it was true that I made a mistake in booking through Booking.Com!
