The property is very clean and has most things you need, and the location is good, but we wouldn't have given it a 4 star - housekeeping is only every 2 days which is fine (and that is made clear before arriving), but to do so they come and knock on your door at 10:00, so if you're still in and you they knock, you miss it - it'd be so much better with a please clean/please DND sign you could put on your door !

    I was not sure who owned the property.

    I was not sure who owned the property. My family made a special trip to visit the garden by taking 1 hoir train ride to the garden. Since it was 2 days before Christmas the weather was not cold and windy. At the gate we found out it would cost us around $150 for our family to to see a garden where no flowers blooming and everything looked grey. Bu honest mistake we entered a building to use the bathroom. Behold there were 4 staff members standing outside accused us trespassing. We had the most horrible customer service experience ever.

    Spacious and clean room that was serviced regularly, with fresh bottled water also provided. All staff were so lovely and the location is perfect for visitors, within walking distance of Times Square, Penn Station, Empire State Building, and Madison Square Garden. Major subway stop at the corner and many great bars, restaurants, shops and cafes right outside the doors!

    We booked an Executive Queen Suite for 4 nights for our trip as we wanted an Empire State View. The room was very clean and comfortable, there were a few teething problems with light switches but were very quickly resolved by the super helpful staff. The location is fantastic, a short walk from the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Times Square etc. Plenty of breakfast places nearby, we enjoyed Andrew’s Diner a short walk away and pastries from Pio Bagel a few doors down. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

    Stayed in for 2 wonderful nights in New York. The hotel was 10 mins from Times Square and 1 min away from Madison Square Gardens. My room was very clean and as it was on the 7th floor I didn’t get much of a view of the city but the connivence of the location made up for that. They have a beautiful lobby and loads of staff to help out with any questions and for the security of the guests and staff.

    I liked the hospitality of the people who work in the hotel, especially Chris at the front desk. Hotel is clean, very well positioned for exploring Manhattan. Close to Penn station and other transport, as well as Madison Square Garden and Empire State Building. One of the most welcoming places I have been in New York.

    The location of this hotel is great, so convenient to subway, trains, Times Square, Madison Square Garden and major attractions. We were able to walk to a lot of places or take subway/bus to explore Manhattan easily. The kitchen came in handy as well when we are stuck in the hotel quite often.
