We loved everything about this hotel. Very nice and tasteful decor. Pleasant ambiance. Very good size room and especially the bathroom. Everything you need in the room, bathrobe, steamer for your clothes, coffee machine. Everything was super clean and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely go back when we would stay in Washington. And special thanks to Isidora for the amusing chat and extra attention to our anniversary!

Liked: location, cleanliness, room, hotel staff helpful and kind
Disliked: restaurant morning staff was sub par, and as there is no else to go to eat or drink something it has a big and not so good impact on the hotel stay.
Located on Pennsylvania Avenue and 482 metres from the White House, this historic luxury hotel. Shops and a private limo service are also offered.

The staff were very friendly- I had a bad cold and unfortunately just went to bed after I arrived - reception offered me late check out which is just what I needed to get some rest. Was sad I didn’t have opportunity to enjoy restaurant etc but will visit again some other time hopefully!

The location and the lobby were fantastic. The room was huge and the bathroom was great.

The person at the front desk was not particularly helpful in our check in. They realised we were only staying one night and didn't give us any information, just said here is your key, there is the elevator.
The room was clean, but the lock on the bathroom door was difficult to work, and the tap in the sink was very loose and near breaking.
The breakfast was poor quality, but the staff were very helpful in explaining what my partner, who has food allergies, could eat.
Overall, the stay was fine, but the quality was poor for the price being charged per night. We have stayed at much higher quality accommodations at lower price points
