Located 8.6 miles from Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Durango Casino & Resort offers 5-star accommodations in Las Vegas and features a bar.

I liked the ambiance and bright neutral colors of the hotel. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I disliked and was not too happy with my room. First of all it was not cleaned properly. There was blood on the pillow case, the windows had icky hand marks, the bathroom shower had a lingering smell and the thermostat is a touch pad which kept acting up. I called the front desk to ask for housekeeping to clean and I was very polite about it. Considering this is a very new hotel, the details were lacking. I also didn’t like how the pool staff led my family and me to the cabanas at the back by the lawn and told me that kids are placed in the back area because this is primarily an adult amenity. I actually chose this hotel because it marketed itself as a family friendly hotel. Please train your pool staff how to speak to guests. The property is pretty but room needs improvement along with staff training.

The U2 show was interesting and entertaining.

The U2 show was interesting and entertaining. The staff working parking areas are unqualified to direct traffic to parking areas. The staff work inside are fine. The staff working the fast food and souvenir booths were fine. The staff giving directions to your seats were friendly and cheerful.

Now I can only rate this from the outside as I wasn't willing to pay the costs to see a 50 minute film or see a gig as there weren't any while we were there. However this is a spectacle as it is freaking huge, but everywhere to park to view it from had a cost but guessing there are places you can walk to see it for free. The outside is certainly a sight but it didn't change as often as I thought it would but that might be the time we were there. Although local write ups say about viewing from the Hughes centre, sure you can at $30 and it is close and unobstructed but two points to consider from this location. one it is if anything a little too close to take it in properly and two it seems to have a front/back to some of the animations and the Hughes centre is on the side aspect so when it is an emoji looking around we only got a giant yellow sphere and caught the corner of one eye. A technical and architectural marvel for sure, but came away feeling a little meh about it compared to say the ceiling on Freemont Street which I much prefer for a light display

GREAT SCREENWORK, NEEDS TO DIVE MORE INTO THE ARTIFICIAL INTELIGENCE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS THE MAIN THEME OF THE PROGRAM. SEATING IS TOO STEEP (HOPE NO ONE FALLS) COULD NOT STREACH IF YOU HAVE BAD KNEES (SEATS TOO CLOSE)
