Recently renovated. The rooms were very nice, great location next to the park. The only gripe is the facility charge . There is very little common space and no breakfast is provided for that charge/.

Times Square
Alive with billboards and brightly-lit screens, Times Square is alive with energy. Yellow taxis fly past and tourists pause awestruck to snap photos on their phones. The bustle of New York summed up in one crossroads, every element competes for your attention. It might often be recreated for film and TV, but nothing beats seeing this famous location up close.

why is this even mentioned?
why is this even mentioned? crowded, often dirty, unsurprising and very touristy. if you like neon well maybe but it’s rather gross. exciting maybe for people who’ve never traveled. if you want to be awestruck, go to the 9/11 memorial.

Superb place at any time during the day.
Superb place at any time during the day. Specially after 3:00 PM when most theaters release all the available seats at the amazing shows for that evening.
Great place to stop and have something to eat after the shows.
Amazing feeling of a city that has a hard time to sleep at night.

Not really very much to see other than buildings with lights on it was noisy messy and not actually a square. We thought it would be a bit like leister square in London but it literally was just some building s we nearly walked past it.

I love times square. Plenty to see and do. Lots of restaurants ranging from reasonable to pricy. Shop around. If you stay in times square, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Carnagie Hall are all within walking distance.

Times Square is something that has to be seen to truly appreciate. However, be prepared to be overwhelmed with the amount of people and the sensory overload! Don't pose for pictures with or even interact with the characters in costumes, unless you intend to pay them. If you want to see Times Square at the least stressful time, go at 3am. And the best food in NYC is NOT in Times Square.

The hotel is in a perfect location 3 min from times square. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
The location itself is perfect. Located only a few minutes from Times Square you get the perfect New York experience. The rooms were very clean and you have everything you need. I think Twin beds are very old fashioned and maybe they should be upgraded to queen size beds. However the beds were comfortable. I loved the old New York vibe which is a nice variety to all the clean modern hotels. The stuff was super friendly and helpful.
Perfect location, not in the heart of the times square but very very close to it, thus no one bothers you and no loud sounds. The hotel in general was really comfy, but there is something to consider if you are stayin with your family of three.
Loved our Times Square view. Cost is a bit high but worth it for the venue. LOVED the View rotating restaurant and the bar in the lobby was awesome too. Also, we have never seen such a great gift shop. Everything you could need or want is there. Also, GREAT staff from the front desk, hostesses, bartenders and waiters, to the bellmen, security. Truly a 5 star experience from every angle. Can't beat the location for going to Broadway shows. Loved the hotel remodel and it was great being back.
Pros: Very clean rooms and nice room service. Not the best bathrooms, but it was a 8/10. Location is nice if you want to stay in chaotic Times Square. Food is great around the hotel.
Cons: Did not get the room I booked. Did not get the breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was absolutely horrible. The worst I’ve had in any hotel. Parking next door is a joke. The staff the night we arrived wasn’t even trying to accommodate when he couldn’t even give us the room we’ve paid for..
Location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to Times Square. Since it is an apartment, it didn't feel claustrophobic like most NY hotel rooms. Staff are very friendly and we did get an early check in which was a good surprise.
Great hotel, cozy, close to the center and the heart of Times Square, we were in a room with 2 double beds and it was great! Comfortable bed, enough space, heating, and a view of the New York buildings
Although I didn’t, my family members had breakfast everyday and seemed to enjoy it. The location was excellent…very close to Times Square AND Herald Square which are almost 10 blocks away from each other. It was so easy to walk to Madame Tussauds and Build a Bear. There were several restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity…and we enjoy having a small kitchen in our room. We were very pleased with the hotel and will stay there on future trips to New York.
