Friendly staff, check-in could have been streamlined a bit better, but overall okay. The room and lobby make up for the only small complaint. Nice ambiance and minimal, but yet effective rooms. The room is nice and dark.

Great location but incredibly quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. The small buffet breakfast good and sufficient to start your day. Good care was taken of our luggage after check out until we departed to the airport. Our room was lovely, with a separate sitting area. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained.
This hotel is centrally located in San Francisco's lively Union Square, which features shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Sadly Union Squares gone so downhill, tbh it couldn't get much worse. So many empty shops. This wasn't for first trip to San Francisco, regrettably it will be our last. The change in the last six years is massive. We didn't feel particularly safe there, which wasn't helped by all the signs warning you. Our first night there must have been 100-150 motorbikes and Quads all racing down the Main Street, with loads of the bikes pulling wheelies, this wasn't an official organised event simply a load of bikers took it upon themselves. There was one police car with its lights flashing but nobody taking an ounce of notice.

Close to a lot of nice cafes and shops.
Close to a lot of nice cafes and shops. The staff in the subway are pretty touchy, and you have to get the clipper card to use public transport. The area going away from the wharf is quite seedy, like an open-air opium den with drug users injecting in public. Some of the cafes included taxes of ~$30USD, bringing out breakfast for 2 to $85. Better to ask ahead. Expensive place overall.

Spacious clean room. Ideal for short breaks or business trips. Great value for money, given the exorbitant prices for higher end hotels in downtown SF. Location is also good, very close to Union square.
This hotel is at a very nice location on walking distance from all popular locations like chinatown, pier 39, Lombard street, union square.
Also free parking included which is a nice bonus.
The location of the hotel is great. Very central, close to downtown, Union Square, North Beach and Chinatown. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is really stylish. It has great internet connection throughout. Walking distance to chinatown and union square and sorrounded with a nice set of good retaurants. Last but not least, it has valet parking.
Location is good either you visit for business or sightseeing. Hotel is close to ferry building with food market, Chinatown and North Beach, all in walking distance. Also area is safe and quiet at nights. Its not sketchy like Union Square or Market Street. You may see few homeless. Hotel offers amenities beyond 3 stars. Room was clean and packed with microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Also there are empty bottles and water dispensers on each floor so you can refill it anytime.
Hotel is in a perfect location for Union Square, Chinatown and the Moscone Center. Lots of rideshares available at all times for other areas. Room was great, spacious with a lovely view and well cleaned. Breakfast was delicious and the to-go continental option was very useful.
Great hotel in fantastic location and super close to Moscon Center as well as the Union Square and all of the San Francisco interesting locations. There is even free shuttle to Chase Center stopping just by hotel entrance.
The crew were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms are big, clean and well equipped.
Highly recommended for both business trips and urban vacation.
Excellent location, good-sized rooms, the AC functions well, good view of Union Square Street, very much walking distance from Powell Street, staff are very nice. There is place to eat dinner and break fast adjoining the hotel.
