The hotel was quaint and very clean, but definitely older so that meant missing some amenities (such as a fan in the washroom). Overall though we enjoyed our stay. Was pleasantly surprised at the value for our breakfast at the Venteux, the fried mini potatoes were amazing. Loved the walkability to everything we wanted to see, including a concert at Soldier Stadium and Cubs game at Wrigley Field.
