What an experience! Very good location, close to the old center but away from traffic noise. Fantastic staff, extremely helpful and proactive for any request involving travel tickets or general information. In particular Ms. Grace and Mr. Dave have been amazingly kind! Very good breakfast with lots of choice.

Good hotel in brilliant location and lovely big room. What really made it was the staff, who were all incredibly kind and helpful. Special thanks to Rosie for sorting so many things for us during our stay - above and beyond.

The staff were excellent, especially Mai the manager who was so helpful. Rooms comfortable. The breakfast great, giving you the choice of vietnamise or European. They were very helpful as to amenities in the city, and would book any trips you requested. Would most certainly stay there again.

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there.
There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness.
Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.
