My partner got food poisoning from a club sandwich that we ordered through room service, our next 3 days were completely ruined, really didn’t expect that from a 5 star hotel.. while some of the staff were kind enough to call and they even came to us at breakfast, apologized and offered any help they can get, what left a sour taste was our last day, during the check out, they wanted to charge us for the meal that caused the food poisoning, when we said what happened they said they don’t have a clue about it and they were very dismissive.. obviously the issue isn’t price of a sandwich, it’s just the principle of it. Some of the other staff were really kind though and have treated us nicely!

Unfortunately on the day of travel we were informed of a problem with our room in a sister hotel. To be fair they offered us a room at this hotel which was in the Old Quarter so great for walking to places but a nightmare for taxis to take/pick up From . Beware if you have any tours booked. On our arrival we were assigned a room so settled in but then had to move because they had assigned us the wrong room. We were not happy as very tired from travelling but the staff were very apologetic and did their best. From then on all was good , staff were very obliging and friendly.
