Czech RepublicVery caring attitude of the owner, nothing was a problem. Cold? We were given a space heater and an extra duvet. You don't like the S&W handcuffs. No problem to take them off :-)
The breakfast was plentiful. Recommended.

Czech RepublicAmazing location, neighbourhood and many chalets all around. Great sauna, fridge in the common kitchen full of beer, wine and prosecco as self service. We had huge terrace for our apartment with great view.

Relaxing, quiet (interspersed with the melodic sounds of cow bells) & comfortable. Bernhard & his team are like a welcoming family. Comfortable bunks, scrummy Austrian food & delicious homemade schnapps. If you want to experience a traditional mountain lodge experience this is a great place to start. I recommend checking that before booking. - Review score8.6Fabulous · 238 reviewsIt really is a unique place to stay, we loved the lodge “Belladonna” we stayed in, everything was clean, we were very surprised by the comfort of the toilet and the bathroom as it was similar to a normal house, there was a private beach only for lodge residents with grass, trees and two chairs with a stunning lake view, the owner told us some interesting facts about the lodge, place was not very crowded so it felt like we had the lake and beach all to ourselves We will surely come back to check out other lodges!Guest review byElisabethYoung couple

There are different kinds of comfort. Even for my stay in the dormitory I could find soap and shampoo. The restaurant was very good and we liked also the breakfast. - Review score9.1Superb · 434 reviewsWe loved our stay at Lodge am Krippenstein! It is very accessible (right in front of the cable car to the top), and very close to the Five Fingers lookout point. There are great hiking trails all around, including hikes that lead to another cable car which returns right back to the Lodge. Dinner was available until 19:30 (very delicious!) and breakfast until 9:30. Everything was very clean, the staff were very warm and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable with a great restaurant and outside terrace to enjoy the location. There are a lot of hikes to go to as well as 2 viewpoints in the vicinity of the hotel.
