Otherwise everything was top notch and the hosts were extremely generous with all the provisions to make our stay extra special. I really enjoyed the unspoiled silence and star-lit nights as well as the whole fabulous station which is a blend of a park and a museum of times gone by. Super clean Lodge with generous breakfast provisions. Heated blankets. Wood for the fire, books, coffee supplies, etc. all made this a great stay. Location is perfect - five minutes walk away from Tim Adam’s Wines, our vineyard of choice! Spa bath was beautiful, as were the grounds.
