Loved the focus on wildlife spotting and nature, the look and feel of the eco-lodge (paintings of wildlife, outdoor space, open kitchen), really enjoyed talking with Bella about the wildlife we were seeing and where to go out looking. Also loved the complimentary coffee/tea and milk, free fruit from the garden, as well as the communal kitchen.

The 180 degree windows made for an immersive experience. The breakfast made our stay extra special. It was quiet and peaceful. And the jacuzzi tub was big enough for myself and my 6’2” husband!

Sharlynn by the River is in a beautiful and peaceful setting and sitting outside on the private verandah was an absolute treat. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The provided breakfast food was excellent and plentiful - we had more than enough for our two breakfasts. Pam and John were very welcoming hosts as was Charlie.

The owner was very helpful and kind. The place was unique and beautiful gardens!
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We loved our time at Chambers Lodges! Although the driveway was a little bumpy with recent rain, the facilities and the room was brilliant!
We loved how close it was to everything wholesome also being a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet escape.
Beautiful setting literally in the middle of the rainforest. We had a gorgeous private apartment with an electric fireplace. Lovely walks around the lodges and we enjoyed bird watching from our balcony and seeing the wildlife from the night viewing spot.
We loved the beautiful location of Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodges. We saw a striped possum and a sugar glider as well as numerous birds. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything that you needed.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was close to a lot of nearby attractions and lodges were clean and tidy. It was very good value for money, offering a great getaway in nature.
We stayed in Lodges 1,2&3 which were tucked away in the rainforest and very private, but only 3 min walk up to the pool area. Lodges we’re bright and clean and well maintained. Very comfortable and lovely crisp linen on the beds. Good size balconies for each lodge and lots of wildlife to observe whilst sitting having a beer 😊.
Beautiful lodges in the rainforest, very quiet and peaceful, plenty of birdlife. Room was very comfortable and clean, and surprisingly cool despite the outside heat even without A/C. Laura and her mum were very friendly and helpful, made sure we had a comfortable stay. No phone reception but reliable wifi. Location is perfect, close to the Crater Lakes and not far from towns, but still secluded. Excellent value for money. Would stay here again any day.
Seclusion of the lodges so that the deck area didn't look into anyone else's accommodation
