Easy check-in. Spacious, comfortable cottage with a modern bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast was a DIY spread of fresh eggs, bacon, bread, yoghurt and fresh fruit. I liked how a coffee machine with capsules of different intensity and fresh milk was provided. Water pressure in the bathroom was great and there was ample hot water. There was also a gas fire in the cottage so it was cosy. Serene garden, beautiful flowers, very relaxing setting.

Staff was nice and accommodating. Our particular room was not in such a good state (walls, window, ventilation, and insulation), but it was still fairly OK.. these were some minor issues we could live with.. we got one of the rooms that hasn't been renovated yet. Laundry available. Lots of ash trays outdoor, it happened that when someone was smoking outside we could feel it inside the room, which was unfortunate - the staff offered to move to another room - which we didn't do but appreciated the offer.

Beautiful spacious house. We had 8 guests and it was perfect. Kitchen was amazing and well equipped. Swimming pool clean. Good heating when it got cold at night. Good size rooms. Comfortable beds. Multiple bathrooms. Nice views. Quiet location.

Great location and liked the quaint nature of the property. however the comfort of the bedding was not up to standard compared to other establishments in the Dandenongs.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We had room with the red walls, and my partner and I loved it, it was quirky and very comfortable. It was very central to parks and cafes and restaurants. But we chose to cook breakfast as the kitchen had cooking facilities and the necessary equipment too.
If I had a question the Lotus Lodge were very quick to respond via email or text. We will look forward to staying there again.
