The chalet had everything I needed for a one night stay although at least two nights would have been better!! Being so close to the bush was magical I didn't see the possums or deer just the native birds!!! It was easy independent with meals as microwave and fridge were there. Cockatoo and Gembrook were close if you needed evening meals.
Loved the furnishings. Very tasteful. The host Sam was friendly and helpful.

Incredible location with many natural trails to explore within walking distance. Access to viewpoints and towns is also convenient via public transport, with only a 10 minute walk to the closest stop. The lodge itself was extremely well maintained, with generous breakfast supplies, and a cozy environment. Steve was very informative and kind as well. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was ideal for a small weekend getaway. I would recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of life, whether you are single, a couple, family, or friends. The ideal peaceful place to breathe the fresh mountain air.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We had room with the red walls, and my partner and I loved it, it was quirky and very comfortable. It was very central to parks and cafes and restaurants. But we chose to cook breakfast as the kitchen had cooking facilities and the necessary equipment too.
If I had a question the Lotus Lodge were very quick to respond via email or text. We will look forward to staying there again.
