We could barely fault our stay at Abiente Rooms. From the start the communication from Wim, the host, was fantastic giving us tips on transport, dining options etc. The accommodation was a 2 minute walk to everything in Bruges and yet in such a quiet street -we loved it. This would be a perfect place for two couples with its shared living room/kitchenette. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Exceptional B&B. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a balcony overlooking the back gardens with views across Bruges and the churches. The bed was the most comfortable we had ever slept in, much better than the Travel lodge in Ashford that we stayed in on our journey. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice.
Rooms were a little travelodge style and a bit basic considering it was a room upgrade. Parking 🅿️ s secure but a little expensive for £25 a day. Breakfast was terrible. Very little cooked choice. Only 4 items. Rest is continental style. A bit expensive but paying for the location as usual.
The Montovani is in a quiet neighborhood away from tourist crowds yet close to all the sights a first-time visitor to Brugge would want to see. Our room was cozy and clean and we looked forward to a satisfying buffet breakfast each morning. We noticed that families with young children chose to stay here, an indicator of lodging with plentiful amenities and excellent value for the room rates.
Everything! We were in Full Moon lodge and we loved watching the bears and wolves. The rest of the zoo was great also. A few language barriers but still worth it.
