I was so excited that we saw a whole herd of Roosevelt Elk on our drive from Kiwi Cove Lodge to The Crow and Gate pub (which is a delicious and atmospheric place to eat)! The Kiwi Cove Lodge honey is also delicious. We enjoyed being so close to Chemainus and Ladysmith and yet also away from the business of town centers.
