The place is a remodel house made an hotel so you can not expect luxury and that’s why it is not advertised so. The location is very convenient and the place is clean and your basics are covered (towels, soap, kettle, coffee and tea).
My only “complaint” would be the breakfast, I wish they would served scrambled eggs as an option.
The hotel's prime location provides easy access to the Jungfrau Region and various outdoor activities, making an ideal base for exploring Interlaken and the Swiss Alps, as we are located just behind...

The host was so nice. This property is close to an area where cows are brought down from the Alps. It was so amazing to see this event in person.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The lodge is really cute and the breakfast is really good with vegetarian options! The staff is really friendly and helpful as well! We came by car, but it is next to the train station, so quite easy to access and travel from there
Lodging very close to sites of great interest.
The building is nice and cozy.
The breakfast is free buffet and of great quality.
The rooms and the rest of the facilities were clean and with good presence.
The lady who serves at the buffet is charming and very attentive.
Very convenient location, and the lodge by itself is charming. The room was clean, very warm, and with a beautiful view from the window. But the best impression I've got from the stuff — very friendly, polite and helpful. These people made me feel like home!
Historical and full of lodgy vibes, really like the vintage furniture and decor of the lodge, it offered me a cozy and homey feeling. Staffs here are super helpful and nice, helped me charge my power bank as my adapter damaged somehow, and helped to unlock my luggage.
The hotel clerk was very helpful and kind with a misunderstanding regarding private or shared bathroom, allowing us a change of room the last days to avoid sharing the toilet. Edelweiss Lodge is the original hotel, joined to the Alpenrose Hotel which is the modern section.
The Edelweiss Lodge was a charming 120 year old building in lovely Wilderswil, a great location to get to everything. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, we booked the private room with a bath. After a long day the garden was peaceful and beautiful and the spa or bath was an absolute bonus. The tasty breakfast with an amazing view was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!!
Good location to visit Jungfraujoch and nice and cosy village scene at Wilderswil. The lodge has cheerful and helpful staff during the stay.
