New ZealandThe hosts were so nice, anything I could have requested they were happy to help with. They upgraded my room, met my requests for additional fans in the room (I tend to run quite hot), and had a really generous supply of things to make your trip far better (i.e. loaned out snorkelling gear, sunscreen, a whole library).
You are very close to an amazing beach, and the bus runs literally right outside the accommodation. I was travelling alone, and never once felt unsafe in the surrounding area.
This stay was genuinely amazing, and I could not have asked for any better.

- Review score8.7Fabulous · 149 reviewsI loved the privacy and 3minute walk to I think one of the most beautiful beaches in Rarotonga, we stayed in the lodge which was very roomy, there was no washing machine but people staying in the beach bungalows told us there was a communal machine and we could all use the tables and kayaks and such on the beach. It was clean and comfortable and you can tell how much effort Vicki and Allen have gone to in creating and maintaining the retreat. Both were incredibly friendly and helpful when needed, their pets Molly and Possum were a cute added bonus! We were there for 4 nights and never saw anyone., except for the groundsman who was very friendly.... again the day we left (early) for a flight they offered us a late check out....
