The location of Playa Pikua is amazing - right on the beach. We loved hearing the waves at night as we slept and waking up to the birds chirping. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. They assisted us in coordinating a boat ride to Tayrona Park and a taxi to the airport. We enjoyed breakfast served to us directly in front of the ocean each day and the food was delicious. While they don't serve lunch or dinner there, you can easily walk to any of the other 3-4 hostels next door to enjoy a meal or a drink.

The resort was amazing, even better than the pictures. The staff is so helpful. The rooms are lovely and spotless. And the food was delicious-every meal! We wish we could have stayed longer.

Danny and Justine are doing a great job at the eco-finca and they can help you with anything you may need for your Tayrona adventure, including leaving your bag if you go to explore the park or take a shower when you get back. This place is jaw-droppingly beautiful! When you first arrive you can hardly believe your eyes - it's like a scene from Avatar - you feel like you're floating over jungle mountains. The house is beautiful wood, the room is super comfy with a sunrise view that will blow you away, and the staff is really friendly and accomodating. If you get a chance to interact with the owner Julia, she's a ray of sunshine! It's one of the most magical peaceful places i've ever stayed, period. You gotta experience it!
