Nature wraps around the property. The trails were well done and varied wildlife was seen. Room was clean and quiet. Dinner was quite good.

A short walk to the beach and to bars and restaurants. We had air-conditioning in the bedroom, which we weren't expecting! They have a laundry service, which we badly needed. Nice pool and laid-back vibe in the area.

The most outstanding, notable bits about Art Villas, was that although it has a luxurious feel, you feel right at home. We stayed in Coco 3, and were welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff members right away. We only stayed for one night, but could use the amenities well after checkout as well, which was great! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the coffee incredible. I’d say the property is just the right size, it is very quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves during our stay.
You must listen to the sounds of the birds and other animals in the jungle in the AM, just outer worldly.
You need 4x4! Don’t be worried about the drive up if you’ve got a rental that is All Wheel, but it is definitely necessary.

Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Little lodge in beautiful gardens full of birds .Has own trail into the forest where some wildlife can be seen .We were at the top of the resort and saw white faced capuchins one morning.Great patio . Comfortable beds .Next to river and short walk into Dominical . Restaurant on site is good .Lots of organised tour groups use this resort.Staff are friendly and helpful.I would visit again .Breakfast was good .Pool very nice.Wifi good.
We stayed at the Eco Lodge condo. It's like brand new. We also went to the Lodge. Syd and Micah were so hospitable. They even made reservations for an excursion. This place is so cute, their rescue pets were very well behaved. The views were amazing, and you could hear the howler monkeys while eating breakfast! I definitely would recommend to anyone and want to go back!!
Very forthcoming hosts, great location if you dig the area. Nauyaca waterfalls were among our favorite falls of our 3 week roadtrip thru CR.
If I return to this area, I'd def try to book one of the wooden villas in the upper area of the lodge. The horseback rising into sunset at playa hermosa was a great recommendation.
The view from the lodge is nothing short of stunning and the property is gorgeous. It's also conveniently situated within a short distance from several beautiful (and empty) beaches. Sid and Michaelynn are fantastic hosts: warm, friendly, and hospitable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious - well worth the extra fee. Highly recommended.
Really liked both Sid and Mika. Very great hosts. Helpful with everything. Scheduled my surfing lesson. Great pick. Restaurant reviews and suggestions outstanding. Help with where to go for provisions. Great storytellers. Will return to this eco lodge for sure.
Real gem of a place.
Right in the middle of nature with an unbelievable view! Animals all around, it’s just magic! The lodge is run by a family, who put so much love and work into the place! Everything worked, everything was clean and comfortable! All around amazing place!
If you are searching for a jungle lodge close to the Pacific, this is the place to be!
Wake up with monkeys in your backyard and a stunning ocean view.
The Pacific Edge Eco Lodge has 4 lodges with fully equipped kitchens, but Sid also serves a great and healthy breakfast.
Michaelynn and Sid are very friendly and helpful. They will help you out with restaurants to lunch and dine as well as tours to book and places to visit.
