Maze Lodge features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Puerto Jiménez.

You are located right in the jungle! You are on the monkey highway’! So many animals to see right from your deck, three kinks of monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, trogons, hummingbirds and more. Great beds; screens on the windows as well as fans and good AC. This allows you to have the room open to a nice breeze or the comfort of the AC. Wonderful big shower with plenty of hot water. Large refrigerator with room for ice. Bird tour with Louise was wonderful, they have lots of other tours available and they will pick you up right at Maze Lodge. The lodge is right next to a Zip Line tour, we didn’t try it, but I’m sure you can get a great deal.

This is a workimg cacao and vanilla farm using green methods. We took the tour and they pitched it at a high level because we want to use their ideas in Papua new Guinea. Fantastic experience. Romantic. Garden of Eden. While Sand beach nearby deserted tropical paradise but with store nearby for drinks. Lots of birds, monekeys, fruit, plants - wonderful.

Featuring a rustic-style decoration and located amid a tropical forest facing the Pacific Ocean, this certified eco-friendly property offers included breakfast.

This is a location for nature lovers. It is unique and secluded, right by the edge of the Corcovado reserve. You get to see animals on the daily, and I loved the outside shower, especially in the night, since there is no light pollution you can see the stars clearly.

Danta Corcovado Lodge offers its guests a library, Wi-Fi access in public areas free of charge and extensive gardens. Tea and coffee services are available from 06:00 to 22:00 hours.

The food was excellent. The night tour and hike in Corcovado park were exceptional with a very knowledgable tour guide. The grounds are beautiful. The squirrel monkeys above our hut were adorable. We enjoyed the walk up to the bird watching tower on the grounds and the amazing views from there.

With Matapalo Beach reachable in 1.5 miles, El Remanso Rainforest Lodge provides accommodations, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a private beach area.

Knowledgeable guides led us to great wildlife sightings - sloth, anteater, 3 kinds of monkeys, agouti, coati, and so many beautiful birds. All staff members are friendly and efficient. Dining area is beautiful and restful with great views. We hated to leave and would love to return.

Located 1.8 miles from Tigre Beach, Chosa Manglar Suites & Cabins offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi.

We stayed at the King's Suite, which included a spacious sleeping area decorated with original art, with an equally spacious bathroom and well-equipped outdoor kitchen. It also included a covered front porch with a small table where we could enjoy the property's extensive jungle flowers and plants, while watching wildlife and having a meal. There was a small rooftop deck, perfect for bird and monkey-watching, enjoying the second cup of coffee or a book. Odd though it may seem, this property on the edge of Puerto Jimenez is in an actual rainforest complete with monkeys, sloths, coati, macaws, toucans and many other exotic birds. Surprisingly, it was only a few hundred feet from the town's airstrip. Following hotel checkout, we were able to walk to the runway carrying all our luggage. The resort also included a beautiful jungle garden, where patrons swapped stories around the nightly bonfire. This was a perfect place for socializing with the staff and other guests, while enjoying refreshments and more wildlife. On recent Saturday nights, a DJ has offered dances. One evening, a fantastic band from Panama played a variety of live music from Central America.

The lodges are very pretty and fully equipped of everything you need. The forest is amazing and it is a cool experience to sleep in it. The your owner is very nice, always kind and friendly like his family. You can have breakfast and dinner cooked by them and the food is simple but very good. The road to get there is doable with 4x4 wheels car.

Primitive lodge in the middle of the jungle. You will sleep in an open room situation with the sounds of the jungle. Howler monkeys, birds, etc. Amazing nature scenery, complete isolation and relaxation. Amazing sky with countless stars.

This kind of lodging was a new concept for us, but it was hands down the best place we stayed in in Costa Rica. It feels like you sleep in the heart of rain forest and yet you have the comfort of the hotel. We had a bit of a hard time with the water heater in the shower, it sort of worked, but other than that it was amazing.

Being so close to nature. Quiet. Isolated with a great view of the jungle and valley. Good food at the restaurant with a lovely staff. Kerley was a great guide for our amazing excursion to La Sirena! Loved our walk along the river to find the natural pools near the lodge. Used the kitchen once for a simple dinner to watch the sunset.

Absolutely fantastic location, I can't wait to go back. Ron was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed before heading up to the lodge. The trails were well marked and the trail leading up to the lodge was well maintained.

Right in the forest - no glass in windows and quite basic but very lovely. Nets keep the mosquitos at bay and great to wake up to the sounds of the jungle. 3 lodges, large 'outdoor' kitchen and simple food (fish or chicken for dinner, 'traditional' breakfast). No wifi or mobile signal. Guide speaks good English and very knowledgable.
