We stayed in Phils Villa which is stunning and extremely luxurious and comfortable. The location of the whole Arenal lodge is superb and we loved walking the trails by ourselves and with the lodge guide Christian, who was very informative. The restaurant food was not quite as good as we found elsewhere, although the service was friendly, but this was a very minor niggle.

Fantastic place, loved the location and our chalet facing the volcano. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the common areas very nice, the restaurant a great option not to have to drive somewhere else. We even enjoyed family pool games having drinks and after dinner. All great, definitely a great place to stay, especially if you prefer to avoid the town area (still being 20-30 mins away).

Location was good and Tim spacious with a good shower. The owner lent us her phone to re book a flight that was cancelled by opodo who were awful. Great stay.

Perfect location on the edge of town and forest. Lovely helpful staff who can arrange all excursions and entry fees at reduced rate. Cash most cost effective. We had a family suite which was great for group of four friends. And could watch humming birds and toucans from the terrace. Breakfast was good value and tasty with views of the volcano - worth getting there early. Easy walk to centre of La Fortuna and lots of restaurants. We got around easily by Uber as didn’t have car. Highly recommended.

I stayed for three nights with my Mother and we loved everything about this property. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the grounds are a calming oasis in which to relax and unwind. We woke up every morning to sound of the birds and we saw Toucans every day!
