Beautiful grounds! Would be such a great destination for families what with the pool, natural hot tubs, shallow river tubing The cottages are very nice, clean and comfy. Restaurant is excellent. Staff is very nice and friendly

This was an excellent stay at Pochote lodge. We originally were going to stay only one night, but liked the location and quietness that we extended our stay. Francisco provides great information on surrounding options to do and places to eat. They don’t have an onsite restaurant, but do have a refrigerator and common kitchen to use. They do provide breakfast options for $9 USD which we did every day and it was great. The cabin we stayed at was comfortable, big enough and comfortable bed. WiFi signal is strong as well. It was great to just sit the with not many people around and just to the birds chirp in the jungle. Highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from the crowds and relax a bit.

Beautiful grounds with a pond, lovely birds and iguanas, and a sweet hiking trail right from the property into the forest where we saw monkeys and a small waterfall.

The staff was very friendly, the food and drinks were great, they had upbeat, fun music playing during the day (which I felt like created a nice atmosphere), and the cabin was very comfortable! My family and I are very happy we chose to stay here. Also, the staff gave an excellent restraunt recommendation to go to Bar Restaurante Chaparrastique- Restaurante Chaparrastique once the kitchen at the hotel had closed. This restraunt is down the road from Hotel Cabanas La Teca, and, again, we were met with an awesome staff, amazing food, and the drinks were great at this restaurant! Some of the best food we had the entire time we stayed in Costa Rica. I'm super happy with our whole experience! Next trip we definitely want to stay longer than 1 night at Hotel Cabanas La Teca. We stayed here because it's so close to the airport.
