Located in the traditional village of Kakopetria, Maritsa Lodge features a garden and offers traditionally decorated accommodations with beamed ceilings and a fireplace.

The hotel was very nice. The hotel has two different buildings. The one where you check in and have breakfast has some rooms I believe. We stayed at the second building a short walk away. Our room had a balcony with a small table and chairs on the balcony. The room had a double bed and a single bed. The room had a wardrobe to hang up clothes. The room has a radiator so you can adjust the heat. Sorry, I don’t remember if it had AC as it was still cool when we visited. The water pressure was good, and the water was hot when needed. The room was clean. I have no complaints about the room. The breakfast served was good. I might say it is a necessity to have a room with breakfast as the town didn’t seem to be a place with a lot of options for breakfast.

Thoughtfulness is the key word to describe these apartments. Everything is here for a comfortable stay – a cozy interior, excellent furniture, beautiful tableware, and well-functioning appliances. The place is warm, which is rare for houses in Cyprus during the winter. The outdoor jacuzzi is simply magical – soaking in warm water with the outside temperature at 8°C was an incredibly pleasant experience! A big thanks to the host for the wonderful breakfast.

    We absolutely fell in love with this lodge! It's location it stunning! Quiet and peaceful. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a lovely selection. If you are thinking of booking.... just do it! You won't regret it.

    Charming lodge in the Old Town of Kakopetria, converted from a 300+ year old house into flatlets. Ours had a private balcony with a lovely view of the river valley. An easy <1km walk into town (for shops and restaurants) along the river nature trail or the cobbled streets of the Old Town or along the tarred road. Traditional buffet included for breakfast. Lots of free offsite parking available in a lot close by; best to park first and then walk to the lodge to check in.

    I liked the ambiance of the room. It was small, comfortable, and had a cozy feel to it. There was a night lamp which I loved, and a big balcony outside with an ashtray. The breakfast was not in overwhelming amounts and it was tasty and traditional. You get the real mountain experience at Maritsa Lodge!

    Cute lodge in a cozy little village. Clean and comfortable room with an amazing bed. Maritsa is so nice and helpful and upgrades us to the suit for free. Nice and varied breakfast in the morning at the time we prefered. Would come back!

    The lodge is located in the heart of the old villige. We had a beautiful big room with a nice terrace. We loved the breakfast with the Cypriot coffee and the owner, who was just lovely. We definitely come back.

    Maria was lovely and welcomed us with a beautiful smile. She even offered us a room update. The room was spacious with a private front terrace with valley views and sounds of the river below. From the Lodge itself there is a back path that takes you on a short trail by the river into the old town.

    The lodge is situated in the heart of the old street of kakopetria. Public parking parking is available near, just a few steps away. The owner maria was so welcoming and wonderful.
