United StatesHosteria Flor de Canela was our perfect resort in Puyo. We were on the edge of the Amazon in our rustic lodge. The night sounds were full of natural music from the frogs, birds & insects. Our lodge screens kept us protected from unwelcome insects. The property was very well maintained with a clean pool & hot tub. Workers were constantly trimming trees and keeping plants & flowers in top condition.

CanadaThe food was fantastic, some of the best I have had in Ecuador. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Rooms were clean, and checked on frequently, and great comfortable beds. The views from the rooms were amazing, even on the rainy days.

We did a trip to the rescue center too. The center was not as big as we thought (which is good!) but we had a lovely time with Julio.
