Beautiful setting , quiet peaceful and good location
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
EVERYTHING!!! It was an amazing stay. The decor was fantastic (my mrs has stolen a few ideas so I'm going to be busy soon!), the whole lodge was so modern, the decking area was great to sit and relax!
CHURSTONWAY LODGE GUEST HOUSE IS A SUPERB CLEAN COMFORTABLE ESTABLISHMENT...ANGELINA. WORKS VERY HARD TO ENSURE YOUR STAY IS A DELIGHT NOTHING IS TO MUCH TROUBLE, AND THE BREAKFAST IS COOKED TO PERFECTION.. WE WILL BE BACK
Everything. Location was great, with an amazing sea view (binoculars and telescope provided). The lodge had a full fitted kitchen. Comfortable settees and amazingly comfortable beds. Owners were very approachable and helpful.
Everything. What a little gem of a place. Spotless, facilities were fantastic. We don't cook on holiday but if we had we had everything we would need. Garden patio was lovely with beautiful pond and comfortable chairs and table. The whole lodge was designed with comfort and taste. I would highly recommend. Short walk into centre of Brixham. Brixham is situated close to other resorts so great place to stay. We only met Chris who guided us to different walks and places of interest.
Absolutely nothing to fault about Loxleys Lodge.
Our 2nd visit, this time with Mum and Nan. They were equally impressed and have booked another stay.
Stunning lodge, beautiful location, well equipped, comfortable and immaculate.
It was a super lodge park. Well kept and a great setting. The lodge was clean and the welcome pack was a nice surprise. For us, being tall people, a 2 bed, and therefore a more spacious main bed would have been better. It wasn't the best of balconies, just a walkway really, had we wanted to hang out on the park it wasn't ideal. The owners do have another lodge used by our friends. It would have suited us better.
Sometimes you happen upon a great B&B which selfishly you hate to recommend in case it becomes so popular that you will never be able to use it again. Raddicombe Lodge is one such. Penny and Nick were great. Nothing was too much trouble and being located centrally between NT properties and Fishing towns the ideal place to be. We will certainly hope to come again.
Everything we needed for a short stay, well equipped and generous welcome gifts. Grounds well maintained and well spaced out caravans/ lodges with hard ground parking along side.
