History. Host was superb. She was kind, generous & the full English breakfast was spot-on. Biggest best bath towels I’ve used.

Calm, peaceful, beautiful. The lodge was super clean, so comfortable and warm. It was a home from home. The Wagtail site was a hidden gem. A beautiful walk around the site with a small pub/bar and a cafe van. The staff at the site were all friendly and helpful.. You can do fishing there too! A return is a must to this hidden gem... ...

the photographs are misleading as they give the impression the lodge is in the countryside rather than directly on the motorway verge. on further examination the final photograph is from Google street view and the text “A1” can be seen, but you have to look for it.
