The cleanliness was awful. Mould in the fridge. Dirty crockery. Floor not mopped. Bare electrical wire in the bathroom. The bed felt like it was about to fall to bits. Lighting terrible. Light bulb missing. I got moved at the last minute due to a hot water issue but you would think they would at least sense check the property that they were moving me too. Clearly that didn't happen. I had a wee look at the other properties whilst i was there. They didn't look much better to be honest although what they did have was mind your head notices due to the low clearance. My property didn't. I smacked my head various times. The 'patio' furniture is old and rusted and in need of replacing. Very basic for the price although the shower was excellent to be fair. I love this area so don't let this review put you off. Definitely come to the area. If the property was up to standard then I think it would still be over priced but that's the highlands for you. Always far to expensive. Finally the walk through the 'silver woods' as nice as it is needs lighting for evening arrivals and current guests that are coming back from a dinner out. It's plane dangerous with steep drops either side of the boardwalk. The car park (if that's what you would call it) needs tidied up. It an absolute dump and only a mater of time before punctures happen if they haven't already.

Fairburn Activity Centre is set in the Scottish woodland of Strathconon Glen and is a 30 minutes' drive from Inverness. It offers limited free Wi-Fi in the downstairs public areas and parking.

Our stay at Fairburn Activity was excellent and pleasant. It is surrounded by nature that give us a refresh start on the morning. The room was perfect clean and tidy, and on the morning we had a lovely breakfast with a great and warmth staff.

The Wee Lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's really quiet and we slept well. It's an easy walk along the river into the centre of Inverness.

The lodge is really great for a family. We found everything we needed (except a hair dryer, which I would really recommend to include as part of the standard inventory). The lodge is just outside Inverness and is really a quiet place. We fully enjoyed.

This is a great accomodation! Very friendly hosts, great communication! The lodge itself is beautiful within the garden of the property, it is spacious, the kitchen provides everything one would need for a few days. The location is also great, in a few minutes you can walk into city center. We liked it very much and would definitely recommend a stay there!

Wow, what an incredible place this is! The lodge is absolutely beautiful. It’s immaculate, and has everything you could possible need. The setting is stunning, and the views from the hot tub are breathtaking. The owners were keen to make sure we had the best trip possible, and made some brilliant recommendations of places to visit that we would never have done otherwise. We can’t speak highly enough of Hillhaven Lodge, and we would book it again in a heartbeat. We were so sorry that we didn’t book to stay longer!

Ness Castle Lodges are phenomenal, way above our expectations. We stayed with my wife and two kids at the Red Squirrel cabin and it was much better than the photos! The cabin is beautiful, fully equipped, with everything you need to build a cozy fire and lots of very nice details. Located with a wonderful view of the river, it was one of the most relaxing things we've done in the Higlands. We wish we had stayed longer.

Well managed hotel. Very clean and presentable. Beats Premier Inns, Holiday Express and travel lodges hands down.

Appreciated the location and the newness of the Lodges. It was obvious a lot of work had gone into getting the Lodges in place and making them unique. Our lodge was well equipped for our stay.

The Lodges have such potential if only the owner would get them finished. The care takers were lovely and sorted issues where they were able to. Some beds were very comfortable. The location was quiet, overlooking a stream

Everything. Christine was extremely welcoming and the two bespoke lodges on the site are absolutely tremendous. Didn’t want to leave at all. 10/10. Will be back with the family.
