Belan Bluebell Woods Shepherds Hut, a property with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities, is located in Llanidloes, 12 miles from Elan Valley, 28 miles from Aberystwyth Golf Club, as well as 22...

From the moment we stepped into the shepherd's hut, it felt like a dream come true. The serene, quiet haven was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Suzi, our incredible host, was a ray of sunshine. She was always smiling, happy to help, and a joy to be around. I asked Suzi to help me plan a special proposal, and she went above and beyond to make it perfect. She’s a true gem! On Friday night, under the starlit sky with no light pollution, we spent hours watching shooting stars and soaking up the peace. It was the perfect setting for a magical moment. We even got to see the Milky Way in all its glory. The Swedish hot tub was a delightful and fabulous addition to this little spot of heaven in the Welsh countryside. With stunning views and a cozy atmosphere, it was the perfect end to our October Saturday. The hut itself was cozy and comfortable, with a super warm bed and an electric blanket for chilly nights. The outdoor kitchen was a chef's dream! The gas grill made cooking a breeze, and there was everything you needed to whip up a delicious meal. Thank you, Suzi, for making our dream vacation a reality. It was incredibly hard to leave! We are definitely going to be making this out yearly trip from now on! Already looking forward to next year!

This place is absolutely perfect if you're after a quiet getaway. It's so peaceful. We stayed in one of the safari tents which was amazing, it has everything you need and is really comfortable and cosy. Loved looking out on the deck in the morning watching the world wake up. The river is also an added bonus as my children loved exploring the area. We would definitely recommend a visit and would love to return.

Amazing location in mid wales, our safari tent was big, clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Beds were very comfy. Our 3 kids loved running about there is lots of open space for them to play. Lovely walk down to the river. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back one day. Thank you!

We had a very warm welcome, excellent cooked breakfast, walked in a lovely garden and spectacular views. If you like walking in quite a remote area with wildlife along nature trails this would be perfect for you.

I was home for a school reunion, the lodge was just outside of town, if we would have had time we would have do some of the walking trails. Mervin the host was great, he has a three bedroom lodge as well, so we will take the family with us next time 😊
