The children absolutely loved the animals, play areas, football pitch and the space to run around. Steve and Sarah are really friendly and welcoming, going that extra mile. Heating worked well (stayed in other lodges/cottages/caravans which have been freezing) Kitchen had everything you needed to cook (we decided to eat out every night as it was a holiday for mum too) Very close to flamingoland. In-between York, Scarborough and Whitby. Dog fields down the road and a track road to walk the dogs. Park for the kids. - Review score9.0Wonderful · 244 reviewsWhat a beautiful find these lodges were, we arrived at about 4.30pm after only having booked it 2 hours before due to our original booking elsewhere being cancelled. The lodge was lovely and toastie warm and the hot tub was amazing and very hot. The lodge had everything we needed for our stay, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The lodges are all very private and with fairy lights all around it was a beautiful romantic break for us, will definitely be returning.Guest review byKarenYoung couple
