United KingdomLocation is stunning. It's out of the way so no road noise. Hot tub was lovely as was the real fire and BBQ. Lots of room for all of us and good kitchen facilities. As it's a working farm there are animals to see as well.

The restaurant downstairs served lovely meals but you need to book a table as it is a very popular place with locals. We also had a very nice breakfast but again you need to book a table. My room was 'small but perfectly formed' and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and breakfast (offered from 9am onwards) exceptional. The bed was comfy and everything very clean. We had breakfast at the cafe downstairs which was excellent. The lodge is right near the Elidir waterfalls trail which is a very pretty walk, even in November. We ate in the evening at the Old White Horse where the lamb shank was excellent & the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
