Big portions too! Good location for doing the waterfalls. Would recommend a stay. There are quite a few other pubs on your doorstep, which we checked out. The restaurant downstairs served lovely meals but you need to book a table as it is a very popular place with locals. We also had a very nice breakfast but again you need to book a table. My room was 'small but perfectly formed' and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and breakfast (offered from 9am onwards) exceptional. I’d booked the larger room having read reviews about other rooms being very small. The bed was comfy and everything very clean. We had breakfast at the cafe downstairs which was excellent. The lodge is right near the Elidir waterfalls trail which is a very pretty walk, even in November. We ate in the evening at the Old White Horse where the lamb shank was excellent & the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
